Apple Executive Replies Curious Customer

 An iPhone user who was believed to have sent a mail to the CEO of Apple,  Tim Cook. Asking him "if closing down multitasking apps could improve the battery life of iPhones".
 Fortunately for him, he got a reply from Apple's senior Vice-president, who answers "no" [it does not].
 I am sure many Apple users would think by closing down running Apps it could extend the battery life. But this means that the way the iPhone was built, closing down running apps definitely has no effect in conserving the battery life of the device.
The guy who asked the question, never knew he would get much attention...
