Nigerian senate Throws Away It's "Frivolous" Anti-Social Media Bill

The Nigerian senate on Tuesday, had announced that the social media petition bill they brought up was a frivolous one.
 This was announced by Senator David Umar, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Human rights and legal matters.
 he said, there has being strong opposition of the bill by the country.
 The Bill
 The anti-social media bill imposed harsh penalties for tweets or text messages that conveyed statements considered untrue from a group of persons to an institution or government.
