Shareholders Of Unilever Approves Close To N190 Million Dividend Payout

  Unilever Nigeria Plc has stated that a dividend of N189.2 million has being approved by it's shareholders at their recent 91st Annual General Meeting that took place in Lagos on Thursday.

 Unilever stated that their profit increased by 6.2 per cent from 55.7 billion in the year 2014 to 59.2 billion as profit after tax stood at N1.2 billion compared to N2.4 billion that was recorded in 2014.
 Commenting to the company's 2015 financial year, the Chairman Board of  Directors, Nnaemeka Achebe said "Without an iota of doubt, 2015 was very challenging year for businesses in Nigeria, particularly within the manufacturing sector. "
 "Notwithstanding this fact, Unilever remains committed to delivering returns to it's shareholders."
