Telecoms Company Would Pay Fine Worth 5 Million For Unsolicited Calls And Text To Subscribers-NCC

The Nigerian Communications Commission has warned telecoms operators in Nigeria to stop sending unsolicited messages and calls to their subscribers, and that failure to comply could qualify the operators to pay a fine of 5 million Naira.
 This warning was obtained from the Legal and Regulatory Service department of the regulatory authority.
 According to the Nigeria CommunicationsWeek, they reported that network operators in Nigeria have bein given up till June 30, 2016 to stop sending unsolicited messages and calls to subscribers, as they would face a fine of  5 million Naira
