Civil Defence Arraigns 4 In Lagos Over Fake Engine Oill Production and Sales

The Lagos State division of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has caught 4 suspects red-handed in the production and sales of fake engine oil, the four named Agu Ndubuisi, John Ibem, Samuel Chukwuonye and Lawrence Frank. The Boss of the the fake oil factory allegedly escaped on seeing the arrival of the Civl Defence Corps.




 According to the Commandant NSCDC, Lagos Commamd, Tajudeen Balogun, he said "They were arrested on Thursday at a factory on Marine Bridge Street, Apapa, where the lubricant was produced in large quantity."
 "They were caught where they were doing illegal mixing. the oil can destroy car engines."
 "They would face the full weight of the law to serve as a deterrent to others", the Commandant said.
 The suspects packaged the fake oil in containers of reputable lubricant producers in order to deceive unsuspectig members of the public.
 The Commandant assured that the so called owner of the Factory identified as Mr. Emeka would soon be caught in no time and would face the law.
