Please Do Not Sack Workers Because Of Power Outage-Fashola Begs

The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, has pleaded to industrialists, directors and other employers of labour in the country not to sack workers due to the challenges in supplying power.



 He stated this during the quarterly Business Luncheon of the Institute of Directors and in the Distinguished Eletrical and Electronics Engineers Annual Lecture on Friday.


 According to him,  the Federal Government would try to increase power sources by expanding Gua Ibue, completing Kaduna Power Plant with electricty generation capacity of 215MW, Kasimbilla with 40MW, Dadinkowa with 39MW, Azura with 40 MW, Zungaru 700 MW and Gurara 30MW.
