The Governor responding to the incident, through his Spokesman, Mr. Lere Olayinka said "it is ridiculous to say such thing about a person that has been governor for two years. How would you say Governor Fayose has a filling station at Akute ?"
He added that "Governor Fayose would rather have something like NNPC Mega Station, which would have at least 20 pumps. He has being a successful businessman before becoming governor."
