Google To Be Charged By EU, For Allegedly "Abusing Android"

Google has been charged by the European Commission for allegedly  making Android a monopoly in it's product, thereby not allowing other competitors in Europe the chance to display it's apps and services on Android.

 This was objected by the European Competition commissioner, Margrethe Vestager earlier this week, saying that Google has breached the European Union law.



 Ms. Vestager alleged that Google is harming competitors. She said "we believe that Google's behavior denies consumers a wider choice of mobile apps and services and stand in the way of innovation by other players, in breach of EU antitrust rule."
