Governor Ayade Vows To Fight Crime In Cross River

 Following the trending crime cases in Cross River state, especially the state capital Calabar, the Governor the state, Senator Ben Ayade who arrived the state not quite long after an official trip, has assured that peace will will be restored soon.




 The Governor stated this in the state's capital, Calabar while in a meeting with Security Chiefs. he appealed to the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari to extend the "Operation Delta safe" to Cross River to help fight militancy, kidnap, cultism and other criminal act in the state.


 He said "We need urgent assistance from the Presidency if nor, Cross river will continue to be a safe haven for these criminals.
"We have arrested 47 suspects so far, and from investigations, all these suspects are from neighbouring states. Some of them have started confessing, we are on red alert to arrest more."
