Japan Says They Want To Stop Making Video Cassette Recorders, Says No Market


A Japan firm, Funai Electronics has announced that they would stop producing VHS playing Video Cassette Recorders (VCRs), saying that there is low sales in the market.



 Funai Electric has being producing Video Cassette Recorders for 33 years , but in 2015 they sold only 750,00 units were sold compared to the average yearly sales of 15 million they used to sell.

 The Japan firm said by the end of July they would officially stop the production of Video Cassette Recorders (VCRs), as DVD players dominate the market, the VCR may not find a good market as they use to in the past.
