John Momoh, ChannelsTv Boss, Emerges As BON Chairman

The CEO of Channels Television, Mr. John Momoh has emerged as the Chairman of the Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON) after he won through an election.




 This now is a record as he will emerge as the first private media owner to hold such a position. Mr. Momoh won  by having 51 votes against Mr. Abbas Dalhatu of Freedom Radio, Kano that had 12 votes.



 The Chairman-elect in his acceptance speech said "We shall shape the future of our industry and give fresh hopes to the future generations of Nigerian Broadcasters."
