We Didn't Recruit Our Children And Allies In CBN and FIRS-Presidency Denies

The Presidency has denied reports that they have "secretly" recruited their loved ones and allies at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).

 This was disclosed by the Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media & Publicity, Mr. Laolu Akande, saying that they were untrue allegations that the Presidency recruited it's family members and friends at the CBN and FIRS.



 He said "These reports are inaccurate. What we heard is that government is working to ensure that we develop going forward in more transparent process. We are committed in going forward to ensure that some of these procedures are refined and made to become more transparent."
