CRUTECH Management Says Over 10,000 Students Owe N1.3 Billion


The Management of the Cross River University of technology (CRUTECH) has announced that the total sum of One billion, two hundred and ninety one million, eight hundred and twenty six thousand, one hundred and forty Naira (N1,291,826,140.00).

 Earlier on, CRUTECH announced that the list of students owing more than a semester’s school fees names would be published on the school website and Nigerian Chronicle website.
The Senate of the institution arising from its meeting on Wednesday resolved that students should be given 3 weeks to clear outstanding debts before examinations commences.

 The students are expected to proceed on vacation and resume on May 12, 2017 with those residing in the hostels given till Monday, April 24, 2017 to vacate the premises.
