Police nabs School boys for impersonating Customs officer on facebook


The Intelligence response team of the Inspector-General of Police has arrested three students and another person for allegedly posing as customs officers auctioning cars on facebook.
 This was confirmed by the Leader of the IRT, ACP Abba Kyari in Lagos on Thursday.
 He sid two of the students were from the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, and one from the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi, both in Edo.

"After several complaints to the IG about activities of some fraudsters posing as Nigeria Customs officers on social media and defrauding millions of naira from innocent Nigerians in the guise of auctioning cars, IG Ibrahim Idris directed the IRT to trace and arrest the criminals.
