Nigeria Records Decline In First Quarter Merchandise Trade, Lowers By 793.5 Billion-NBS

The National Bureau of statistics (NBS) has stated on Tuesday in a report,
that Nigeria has recorded decline of N793.5 for first quarter of the year in merchandise trade closing at N2.72 trillion as compared to N3.51 trillion in the fourth quarter of 2015.
 The Bureau said that this was the first time such decline happened in 7 years and that the drop in the first quarter trade represent a decline of about 22.6 percent over what was recorded in the last quarter of 2015.
