Why Toyota Is Recalling Over 3 million Hybrid Cars Worldwide

The Japanese automobile  firm, Toyota says it is recalling 3.37 million hybrid cars over air bag and fuel emission problem.

 According to them, affected vehicles are equipped with an evaporative fuel emission control units mounted in the fuel tank.
 Which means that a crack could develop in the tank and may expand over time, which may eventually lead to a fuel leak when the car has a full tank of petrol.
 Toyota said "the incident could lead to an increased risk of injury, if the  passenger is in the car when that happens".
