Edo PDP Governorship Aspirant Quits, Says Party Leaders Are Not Honest

The Edo Governorship aspirant of the People's democratic Party (PDP) who participated in the June 20 primaries, Solomon Edebiri has announced that he has resigned from the party, saying that the party Leaders are not honest.

 According to Premiumtimes, he disclosed this while interacting with Journalists in Obayanton, Close to Benin on Thursday.

 Mr. Solomon said "I can officially tell you that I have resigned my membership of PDP and that I have also refused to join either the Sheriff faction or any other party.
 "My resignation followed the dishonesty of the party leadership who reneged on its pledge to provide a level-playing field for all aspirants at the primaries."
