Microsoft Wins Court Case Over US Government That Says They Should Leak Some Data To Them

The US Department of Justice wanted to access a server in Ireland , that belongs to Microsoft, so that they will investigation a crime case, but the Supreme court gave the win to Microsoft because they refused.

 Microsoft refused leak data to them, saying that they are protecting the privacy of it's cloud computing service, says the DoJ asking for data would be breaching the security of customers in foreign countries.

 Microsoft resisting their demand says "As a global company, we have long recognized that if people around the world are to trust the technology they use, they need to have confidence that their personal information will be protected by the laws of their own country."

The Supreme Court ruled in favour of Microsoft, saying that the US DoJ can't force Microsoft to give them the data of a foreign country.
