Governor Ben Ayade to Commission Premier Job Centre on May 29

The Governor of Cross River State, Senator Ben Ayade has announced that he would be commissioning a premier job centre on May 29 as part of celebration for his second year anniversary.
It was noted that he job center will be keeping a robust data of all youths of Cross River state to serve as a bureau to engage young people in their various field when the need arise.

It will also create a robust website to accommodate even the youths of Cross River state in diaspora, where they can submit their CV.
Disclosing this, the new Chairman of Cross River state Job Creation Commission, who is also the Hon commissioner for Youths and Sport Development, Comrade Asu Okang, said “the office of the department of Job placement is now domiciled in the Ministry of Youths and Sport Development in order to create a synergy that will ensure the job recruitment for Cross Riverians is result oriented.
“In the opinion of His Excellency the Governor, who is committed to job creation for Cross Riverians, the commission, and this initiative will ensure the chances of Cross Riverians getting a job is broaden and guarantee.”
In his words: “You really don’t need any connection from the Governor or the commissioner for you to be employed ”
He further explained that to give it legal backing,there is a bill to merge the job center with the employment trust fund.

In addition, he revealed that the job centre will capture data’s of youths cutting across the three senatorial districts in order to give it wide representation.
