No fewer than 2,500 youths in Cross River state attended the 7th career day edition of the Bridge Leadership Foundation that held on Saturday, July, 2017 at the Calabar International Convention Centre (CICC), Calabar, Cross River State.

Keys speakers included the Founder of the Bridge Leadership Foundation, Liyel Imoke, former governor of Anambra, Mr. Peter Obi, Mr. Olusegun Awolowo (CEO of NEPC), Mr. Ofem Ekapong of Smartcity Lagos, Adesola Ladoja (CEO of Simply Green), Mrs. Oluwatoyin Onigbanjo (CEO of August Secrets Nigeria), Mr. Ette Assam of Ette’s Finger Likin, Mrs Achenyo Idachaba of MitiMeth, Babajide Ipaye of Keexs, Sam Hart the SSA to Governor of Abia and convener of “MADE In Aba products, Mr. Patrick Ugbe of Hitfm Calabar, Buky Asehinde of Bellafricana and Effiong Ekpeyong popularly known as Double e.
 They spoke on how they became successful in life with little or nothing and urged youths to start something with whatever they have not minding the circumstances they faced.
The theme of the seminar was “Made in Nigeria: Local Production, Global Market.
The thousands of youths present went emotional on hearing the stories of the dignitaries and were inspired to start out their own venture, it was also the talk of the town in Calabar, Cross River state.

The Bridge Leadership Foundation is a non-profit organisation founded by Senator Liyel Imoke, a former Governor of Cross River state which strives to change behaviours by inspiring, empowering, equipping and educating participants with the needed tools, skills and support that they need to change their communities.
