JAY-Z might
just have given a little girl in the United States, the hope of becoming a president
in the future.
During a
live show in Cleveland, Ohio, the rap icon took out time to give an
inspirational speech to a young girl. He told the nine-year-old girl to set her
sights high and believe in herself after spotting her from the stage at Cleveland's
Quicken Loans Arena on Monday night.
"At
this very moment America is way more sexist than they are racist, but you young
lady, you got the potential to be the next president of the United States, you
believe that," the rapper said.
JAY-Z's
latest 4:44 tour stop also saw him gift hundreds of tickets to foster parents
and children from the local area, WKYC reports.
Back in
September 2017, it was reported that Jay Z and longtime friend business
partner, Kanye West were in talks to resolve their conflict. Their feud had
ignited last year when Kanye West went on stage last year, on his concert to
call out JAY-Z, Beyonce, and their daughter Blue Ivy. Jay-Z said Kanye crossed
the line when he brought his wife and daughter into their dispute.
However, TMZ
reports that Kanye has reached out to Jay-Z bury the hatchet. It would be
recalled that Jay called Kanye out in the song 'Kill Jay Z' of his latest
album, "4:44" as a result of the feud. TMZ sources say both are
reconciling, adding they have the classic love/hate relationship and frequently
bounce back as this isn't about the money.
Kanye and
Jay are embroiled in a financial dispute over Yeezy's Tidal deal and millions
are in contention.
Meanwhile,
Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce welcomed a set of twins in June 2017. Jay Z was
inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in June 2017(the first Hip-Hop
artist to receive this induction).
