Ayade says he has created jobs in Cross River

Cross River State Governor, Senator Ben Ayade industrial park of has said his administration has given appointments to 4000 persons and ensured that civil  servants in the state  receive their monthly salaries regularly. 

The governor stated this in Calabar when he inspected the newly built Ayade Industrial Park where some factories are concentrated.
He said the industries have provided many skilled, unskilled and indirect employments to many Nigerians who are regularly being paid handsomely.
“Everybody who was due to be permanent secretary that was stagnated for the last 15 years, I have promoted all of them; in one  swoop, 33 permanent secretaries and others and I have paid them.
“I have converted contract staff  at  the Ministry of Water Resources, Water Board to regular staff.  I have also taken workers from CRGIA who were non-regular staff and converted them to permanent staff.
“I have created direct and indirect opportunities for additional 9,000 jobs.  I have  also authorized SUBEB to employ additional 1,000 teachers,” said the governor.
