Former
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been inducted into Liberia's Order of
Distinction as the Knight Grand Commander of the Humane Order of African
Redemption.
The national
honour was bestowed on the 68-year-old by his former player at Monaco and
country's president, George Weah in Monrovia on Friday.
The
presidential recognition comes as appreciation for Wenger's contributions to
sports in Africa.
