The All
Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has again, announced the postponement of the
screening of House of Assembly and House of Representatives aspirants that
purchased and submitted the party’s Expression of Interest and Nomination
forms.
The party
had earlier fixed September 15 and 16 for the screening of the House of
Assembly aspirants.
The new date
for the screening of the aspirants is September 19 and 20, 2018.
This was
disclosed by the National chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Oye, via a post on his
verified Facebook account.
Oye also
disclosed that the Governorship and Senate screening has equally been shifted
to Sept. 21, 2018.
The post
stated, “Due to APGA’s successful retreat & book presentation and the need
to properly collate all forms purchased and returned by aspirants, the
screening of the House of Assembly and House of Representatives’ aspirants has
been postponed to September 19 and 20, 2018.
“Senate and
Governorship screening has consequently been moved to September 21, 2018.
“Appeals
arising from the House of Assembly and the House of Reps screening will be determined
on September 22, 2018.
“Appeals
arising from Senate and Governorship screening will be determined on September
24, 2018.
“The dates
for other primary election activities remain as published, unless otherwise
communicated.
“All
aspirants and persons concerned should take note and comply accordingly.”
