The agent of
France World Cup and Stuttgart defender, Benjamin Pavard has reportedly offered
La Liga champions, Barcelona the chance to sign his client at the end of the
2018/19 season.
According to
Mundo Deportivo, Pavard is likely to move to Camp Nou next summer, and the
Frenchman’s agent has told the Catalan club that they will be able to sign his
client for £31million.
Pavard
featured for France at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, with the defender
playing a key role in his country’s success at the summer competition.
The
22-year-old was linked with a move to join several big clubs in the wake of the
tournament, but Stuttgart managed to keep him beyond the end of the summer
transfer window.
However,
Sergi Roberto and Nelson Semedo are currently Barca’s two senior options at
right-back, but only Pavard is considered to be a specialist in that position.
