Nwosu who spoke with a Media source in a chat on Wednesday morning, also stated that the agreement had hindered the growth and development of the state.
According to the former Abia lawmaker, “Abia is in a great search for salvation. The charter of Equity has doomed Abia. It has raised mediocre in leadership. And that is what has kept Abia state down.”

” Abia State is the least developed state in Nigeria, compared to the volume of resources that is before us, from both the Internally Generated Revenues and from federal derivation.
“Notwithstanding, we are till the least developed state in the federation. So, there is no zoning in SDP. We are not going to zone any elective position to any particular senatorial zone in Abia.”
