Scholes reveals his three favourite players, picks between Ronaldo, Messi

Paul Scholes
Former Manchester United midfielder, Paul Scholes, has named the three footballers he enjoys watching.

They are Lionel Messi of Barcelona and Real Madrid’s duo of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric.
Scholes, speaking to ESPN, also picked Messi ahead of Ronaldo.
“Modric, [Toni] Kroos, Messi,” he replied, when asked which players he enjoys seeing the most.
“Watching Messi against Tottenham at Wembley made me think about the Messi and [Cristiano] Ronaldo debate again.”
When he was asked to pick his favourite between the two of them, he said: “Messi, but Ronaldo is brilliant.
“Ronaldo is sensational at what he does, with pace and power. He scores, he takes free-kicks.
“But as an all-round footballer, Messi – wow, his passing – has absolutely everything.”
