The Delta South Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr. Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan, has petitioned the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, calling for the cancellation of the just-concluded Presidential and National Assembly Elections held in the zone.

Dr. Uduaghan claimed that the Delta South Senatorial election wherein INEC declared Sen. James Manager as winner was “fraught with a lot of electoral malpractices, irregularities, ballot stuffing”.
He stressed that it was further crippled with electoral violence in some parts of Burutu, Bomadi, Patani, Warri North and Isoko North LGAs.”

Dr. Uduaghan sent a copy of the petition to Owojela's Blog through his Media Assistant.
While thanking his supporters for the overwhelming supports accorded him throughout the electioneering period, the former Delta State Governor called on his supporters and the good people of Delta South to remain calm and peaceful, saying further directives would be communicated to them.

The petition is coming after INEC in the early hours of today declared incumbent Sen. James Manager, winner of the elections in Oleh, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.
